We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our team. We are a fast-paced company looking for someone who will be an integral part of our supply chain management. At Kanak Naturals, our focus is on sustainable, disposable tableware and food containers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Customer order management – from receipt of the customer orders to the final delivery. This includes but is not limited to order entry and processing, communication with customers, communication with our internal warehouse staff and third-party warehouses, requesting and comparing freight quotes, accurately preparing outbound paperwork, and order tracking
- Maintain and administer company inventory control, research and solve discrepancies
- Develop important reports and schedules for customers and internal sales team
- Assist with production planning and scheduling with production supervisor and procurement department
- Maintain excellent working relationships with customers, third-party warehouses and carriers
Skill, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to work as part of a team whenever it is necessary to do so, but also be able to work independently
- Good analytical skills and ability to prioritize and adapt in the face of multiple tasks
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and time management skills
- Experience with and efficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and other computer programs
- Positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow
- 1-3 years of related experience or combination of education and experience is preferred
